Oh, they are singing a different tune now

When the Supreme Court ruling came down in Kelo v. City of New London, Real Estate Developers couldn't wait to start strong arming cities into forcing people out of their homes with the newly expanded powers of Eminent Domain.

Here in New Jersey, a recent State Supreme Court Decision stated that the municipalities could use the same powers of Eminent Domain in order to for Real Estate Developers to sell property in an effort to preserve open land. Is anybody surprised that the Developers Association is now upset? Seems they are not as happy when it is THEM that is having their lives ripped out from under them.

The case is "Mount Laurel Township v. Mipro Homes LLC.", No. A-85/86, Supreme Court of New Jersey. It will be interesting to see if they decide to try and appeal this further.
